I love buttons! I am a sucker for a bag of buttons at an estate sale or garage sale. Some day I’m sure I’ll find a real purpose for all of them. This weekend I came across a fairly large bag and they were really dirty.
So, they got washed . . .
sorted . . .
and put in jars with the rest of my “collection.”

I think that is a cool collection...and you'll always have a button if you loose one. :)
We use them at my school for counting and sorting.

oh how cute! I love buttons too...my grandmother had a huge button jar that I would dump out and play with whenever I stayed with her...suppose that's where I developed my love of them!

Button, button, who's got the button? Did you ever play that game as a kid? My mama played with us and then taught my kids; now I've taught my grandkids. You sit in a circle, put your hands together prayer style but hold them straight out. The person with the button ("IT") comes around and slices through your hands and then drops the button in someone's hand. You don't tell that you have it. Then the "IT" person says "button, button, who's got the button". Then the guessing begins. Memories....Thanks.

My word! Those colorful button jars are lovely! I remember playing with jars of buttons that my mother kept, when I was a little girl. Such a simple pastime, but pleasurable...
I LOVE your buttons! And, what a great way to display them! Most clever!
