We rode the Texas Star - $6.00 each to go one time around!

Do you see me on this.  No, I don’t think so – you couldn’t pay me enough!

We didn’t win anything, but I’m sure it’s only because we didn’t try.

Had to have a Fletcher’s corny dog – a State Fair tradition.  (Tastes better than this picture looks.)

This is a butter sculpture depicting the rivals, University of Texas and Oklahoma University, who always play during the fair.   These were larger than life sized sculptures.

Really large carved pumpkins.

Jumped in “our” car, and away we went.

We had fun, the weather was beautiful, we spent a ridiculous amount of money, but we will surely go back next year!

I love your FAIR!!! How fun is all that stuff!! I am going to our biggest on in Fryeburg on Friday. It's about an hour away from where I live, but will post the fun, freaky and delicious scenes from the fair too!!
